Mō te Tūranga | About the Role

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and creating positive experiences for others? Southern Cross Christchurch Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Administration Support professional to join our team. In this varied role, you'll be one of the first people our patients, visitors, and medical specialists connect with, helping to create a welcoming, professional, and seamless experience from the moment they arrive.

Combining front-of-house reception responsibilities with a broad range of administrative duties, you'll play an important role in supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the hospital. From managing patient documentation and responding to phone and email enquiries, to processing revenue, coordinating visitor access, and supporting specialist relationships, no two days are the same. You'll also assist with ACC and Affiliated Provider contract administration under guidance and work closely with teams across the hospital to ensure excellent service delivery.

We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys variety, and takes pride in delivering outstanding service. Your ability to build positive relationships, manage competing priorities, communicate effectively, and handle sensitive information with professionalism will be key to your success in this role.

This is a permanent, full-time position, working a rostered schedule Monday to Friday, with shifts covering our service until 8.00pm.
