What they need

Data & Logistics Support Officer

100% Remote | Full-Time | National First Nations Mental Health Programs

Make an impact supporting First Nations communities across Australia

Our client delivers Social and Emotional Wellbeing training and community capability-building mental health programs for adults and young people in First Nations communities across Australia, with a particular focus on rural and remote regions.

They are seeking a highly organised Data & Logistics Support Officer to join their national team and provide essential administrative, scheduling and travel coordination support to the Project and Operations teams delivering these important programs.

This is a fully remote, work-from-home position, with NWA's HQ located on the Tweed Coast, NSW/QLD border.

The Role

This is a busy and varied coordination role where attention to detail is absolutely essential. You will be supporting Project Managers, trainers and operational staff who are delivering programs across metropolitan, regional and remote Australia.

A significant component of the position involves coordinating complex national travel and logistics, ensuring trainers and project staff are in the right place at the right time. You will also provide high-level administration, maintain project data and records, track program activities and assist with reporting and financial administration.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating flights, accommodation, ground transport, permits and other travel requirements for trainers and project staff
  • Supporting national scheduling, trainer deployment and workshop coordination
  • Providing high-level administrative support to Project and Operations Managers
  • Maintaining accurate databases, trackers, registers and project records
  • Completing data entry, quality checks and assisting with reporting
  • Monitoring workshop schedules, timelines and work-in-progress activities
  • Liaising with trainers, subcontractors, community representatives and internal stakeholders
  • Providing responsive logistical support when programs are being delivered
  • Assisting with invoicing, credit card reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable and expenditure tracking
  • Identifying potential logistical issues and escalating them before they impact program delivery.

About You

You will be someone who genuinely enjoys administration and coordination and takes pride in getting the detail right. With multiple trainers, locations, travel arrangements and workshops occurring simultaneously, you will need to be able to juggle competing priorities without losing sight of the finer details.

Ideally, you will bring at least two years' experience across administration, operations, travel logistics, project coordination or data support. Experience within community services, health, education or a government-funded environment would be highly regarded.

You will also have:

  • Exceptional organisational and administrative skills
  • Strong travel and logistics coordination experience
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and project management and/or CRM systems
  • The ability to work autonomously in a fully remote environment
  • A calm, practical and solutions-focused approach
  • The ability to manage a high volume of competing priorities
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative working style.

Identified Position

This is an identified position. Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants are strongly encouraged to apply, and the successful candidate will be required to meet the organisation's identified-position requirements.

The role requires a strong commitment to culturally safe and respectful practice and involves working closely with First Nations communities, trainers and stakeholders throughout Australia.

Why Join?

This is an opportunity to combine your administration and coordination skills with work that has genuine purpose and national reach. You'll be part of a collaborative team supporting programs designed to strengthen community capability, wellbeing and resilience in First Nations communities across Australia.

If you are an exceptional administrator who loves organisation, travel coordination and making sure everything runs seamlessly behind the scenes, we would love to hear from you.
