What they need

Administrative Coordinator - NFP South Australian Primary Principals Association (SAPPA)
$68,750 plus super FTE (pro rata for part time)
Part-time, 30 hours per week
Permanent
Hindmarsh, SA 5007 (In-office)

About the Company

Revise Recruitment has partnered with the South Australian Primary Principals Association (SAPPA) to recruit an Administrative Coordinator.

SAPPA represents and supports primary school principals and educational leaders across South Australia, providing advocacy, professional support, events, resources and opportunities for connection across the sector.

Working from SAPPA's office in Hindmarsh, you'll join a small, collaborative team where everyone contributes, and strong administration plays an important part in keeping the Association running smoothly.

About the Role

Reporting to the Business Manager, you'll provide high-level administrative and office management support to the Head of the Association, Board, and members.

The role combines day-to-day administration with communications, membership support, meetings, events and some finance administration. You’ll need to be highly organised, comfortable managing competing priorities and someone who naturally notices the small details.

Strong written communication is particularly important. You’ll assist with newsletters, flyers and other communications, so good grammar, spelling and editing skills will be highly valued.

Knowledge of how schools operate would be an advantage. Someone familiar with the rhythms, terminology and practicalities of a school environment will quickly understand the organisation and its members, although previous education-sector experience is not essential.

About the Person

You’re the person who keeps things organised and accurate. You’ll be professional and approachable, with the confidence to communicate with principals, Board members, and other stakeholders. You enjoy being part of a small team and are equally comfortable working independently and taking responsibility for your own workload.

To be successful you’ll need strong admin skills, good judgement and a willingness to learn.

Duties

  • Provide high-level administrative and office management support
  • Maintain accurate membership records and support member recruitment and engagement
  • Prepare, proofread, and edit newsletters, flyers and other communications
  • Coordinate Board and committee meetings, including preparing and distributing papers and taking minutes
  • Support the organisation of SAPPA’s annual conference and other events
  • Process invoices, payments, reimbursements and follow up outstanding invoices in conjunction with the Bookkeeper
  • Assist with travel, accommodation and interstate meeting arrangements
  • Support calendar coordination and general administration

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in administration or office management
  • Exceptional organisation and attention to detail
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with Canva, AI tools, and Facebook desirable
  • Excellent grammar, spelling and written communication skills
  • A current Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain one
  • Knowledge or experience of the school or education environment, or previous experience working for an association, would be highly regarded

If you're an organised administrator looking for a flexible, varied role where your contribution will be genuinely valued, APPLY NOW.

Please note the salary listed is the full-time equivalent. The salary will be pro rata based on 30 hours per week.

Revise Recruitment embraces diversity and strongly encourages applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and people from culturally diverse backgrounds.
