Job summary

The Game Arcade Manager is responsible for the overall commercial and operational performance of the arcade. The role requires strong leadership, excellent customer-service skills, financial discipline and hands-on supervision of staff and gaming operations.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily arcade operations, ensuring smooth opening/closing, cleanliness, adequate staffing, and proper functioning of all games and facilities.
• Deliver excellent customer service, resolve complaints promptly, manage queues, and maintain a safe, family-friendly environment.
• Manage and motivate staff, including scheduling, training, performance monitoring, discipline, and daily briefings.
• Maintain strict cash and POS controls, including daily reconciliation, discounts, refunds, complimentary credits, and investigation of discrepancies.
• Maximize machine uptime by monitoring faults, coordinating repairs, and ensuring preventive maintenance.
• Control redemption prizes and inventory, minimizing shortages, losses, and unauthorized issuance.
• Grow customer traffic through promotions, birthdays, group bookings, school visits, corporate events, and special programs.
• Maintain safety and compliance standards and coordinate with mall management, security, and facility teams when necessary.
• Report performance to management, including revenue vs. target, customer traffic, machine downtime, staff performance, complaints, inventory issues, and recommended corrective actions.

Requirements:

• HND in Business Administration, Hospitality, Leisure Management, Marketing or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years' supervisory or management experience in an arcade, family entertainment centre, cinema, hospitality operation, amusement park, retail operation or similar customer-facing business.
• Experience managing high-volume weekend operations is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of cash/POS controls.
• Ability to manage and motivate frontline employees.
• Strong numerical and reporting skills.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and basic business reporting.
