About the Role

We are recruiting an Administrative Procurement Specialist on behalf of a leading international automotive company in Barcelona. This position will manage local indirect procurement activities, covering office supplies, IT equipment, facility services, travel, consulting, cleaning, security and other outsourced services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily administrative and indirect procurement activities.
• Source local suppliers and conduct RFQs, quotation comparisons and commercial evaluations.
• Support contract review, purchase order placement and end-to-end delivery tracking.
• Create and maintain an accurate local supplier database.
• Coordinate supplier onboarding, including document collection, system registration and contract filing.
• Review invoices and follow up on internal approval and payment processes.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in indirect procurement, service procurement, office purchasing or administrative procurement.
• Practical experience with supplier sourcing, RFQs, price comparisons, purchase orders, contracts and invoice follow-up.
• Good understanding of the Spanish supplier market and local procurement practices.
• Experience using SAP, ERP, SRM, Navision or similar procurement systems.
• Native-level Spanish and professional working proficiency in English.
• Catalan or Chinese language skills would be an advantage.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Experience in a multinational, manufacturing or automotive environment would be preferred.
• Valid right to work in Spain.
