Admission Counsellor

Role & responsibilities

• Engage with prospective students via calls, emails, and in-person meetings to assess their educational and career aspirations.
• Provide clear, accurate, and personalized guidance on available programs, course structures, and career outcomes.
• Support applicants through the entire enrollment processfrom initial inquiry to final registration.
• Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets through effective lead conversion.
• Maintain detailed records of student interactions, follow-ups, and status updates using CRM tools.
• Monitor competitor offerings and industry trends to refine outreach strategies and stay ahead in the market.

Preferred candidate profile

• Must have relevant work experience in the EdTech industry, specifically in Online Education / Online Degree Sales.
• Prior experience in selling Online UG/PG programs will be strongly preferred.
• Candidates with proven experience in student counselling, lead conversion, follow-ups, and admissions will be preferred.
• Strong communication, counselling, negotiation, and sales skills.
• Target-oriented and comfortable working in a high-performance sales environment.
• Experience with CRM and lead management systems is preferred.
• Candidates from companies such as College Vidya, Jaro Education, Edhike, UExT, ZSAPIENS, upGrad, Amity Online, Manipal Online, Jain Online, or similar EdTech companies will be preferred.
