Admissions Coordinator

Admissions Coordinator Requirements:

• Implement marketing strategies and promotional activities, including, but not limited to, planning educational lunches in and out of the building
• Meets with key referral sources e.g., Eldercare Attorneys, Senior Centers, Physicians' offices, hospitals
• Research physicians in our targeted area to partner with our facility
• Should be familiar with Lehigh Valley, Carbon County, Monroe County area, and the surrounding community
• Sell and promote facility services in PA
• Build sales within the assigned area according to goals
• Must be creative, self-motivated, and have a pleasant and helpful disposition.
• Must have long-term care experience as an external liaison or marketer
• Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills, problem-solving skills, and apply good judgment based on the principles of sound management
• Respond to SWs at hospitals and other facilities about referrals
• Review clinical referrals
• Familiar with Medicare, Medicaid, HMO
• Familiar with PCC
• Present tours of the facility to prospective residents
• Sign admissions agreements
• Attend weekly UR meetings

Job Type: Full-time

Admissions Coordinator Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday/Call Rotation

Admissions Coordinator Education:

• Associate (Preferred)

Admissions Coordinator Experience:

• Healthcare Admissions: 1 year (Preferred)
• Sales: 1 year (Preferred)
• Marketing: 1 year (Preferred)
• Skilled Nursing Facility: 1 year (Preferred)
