Responsibilities

• Coordinate the intake process for new patients, including scheduling appointments, gathering necessary documents, and updating patient records.
• Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits, and communicate with insurance companies as needed.
• Assist patients and families with completing admissions paperwork and answer questions about the admissions process.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless transitions for patients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient admissions and discharges.
• Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to patient admissions.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and referral sources.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience in a healthcare setting, with a willingness to learn and grow.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
