Admissions Counsellor

Nanyang Institute of Social Sciences (NISS) is an institute of higher education registered with SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) under the Ministry of Education of Singapore, aiming to create a lifelong learning platform that incorporates quality higher education resources from the East and the West. We are now inviting applications for the position of Admissions Counsellor , responsible for managing the admissions process and supporting prospective students from inquiry to enrollment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand and apply admissions policies, provide professional program consultation, and achieve enrollment targets.
• Guide prospective students through the entire enrollment process, including application and interview, to ensure successful admission.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop enrollment channels and support program promotion.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in sales, marketing, key account management, or the higher education sector.
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to details and accuracy in tracking and managing admissions for academic programmes.
• Observant in identifying process, operational, and service gaps, and able to propose solutions
• Self-driven with a high level of autonomy, while also being a team player.
• Ability to set priorities and multi-task effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to engage and consult with prospective students.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken Chinese is required as the role involves regular communication and coordination with Chinese-speaking partner universities, faculty members, students, and external organizations, as well as the preparation of admissions-related materials in Chinese.
