Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Backend Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and enhance backend solutions on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
• Develop custom AEM components, services, workflows and reusable capabilities.
• Build solutions using Java, OSGi, Apache Sling and JCR.
• Develop Sling Models, Servlets, schedulers and backend services.
• Work with Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, DAM and AEM Sites capabilities as required.
• Develop and support integrations between AEM and enterprise or third-party platforms using APIs and services.
• Troubleshoot application, integration and performance issues across AEM environments.
• Follow coding standards and participate in code reviews, unit testing and technical quality assurance.
• Work closely with architects, frontend developers, QA and other engineering teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Support deployments, defect resolution and production stabilization activities.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager / AEM Sites.
• Strong Java development experience.
• Hands-on experience with:

• Sling Models
• Sling Servlets
• AEM Components and Templates
• Content Fragments / Experience Fragments
• DAM
• REST APIs / integrations
• Good understanding of AEM development and deployment practices.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working within enterprise development teams and established SDLC processes.
