SAP Observability Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Implement IT solutions for a global Oil and Gas company.
• Deliver technical design & construct documentation and refine requirements from business users.
• Lead Proof-of-Concept (PoC) activities e.g. new development tools, Services interface between systems
• Promote developer best practices & provide consultation based on SAP technology stacks.
• Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions and Community of Practice discussions.
• Provide consultation and guidance to SAP team.

Primary Skill Sets:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or IT-related fields.
• Hands-on experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
• Good understanding of SAP application flows, business processes, and integration architecture.
• Working knowledge of SAP integration technologies such as SAP Integration Suite, IDoc, OData, SOAP, REST APIs, AIF, and ABAP Application Log.
• Understanding of SAP Cloud ALM for Operations, monitoring concepts, alerts, dashboards, KPIs, and observability practices.
• Ability to analyze monitoring requirements and translate them into practical monitoring solutions.

Soft Skill Sets:

• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple SAP capability teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English: TOEIC 750+, TOEFL iBT 98+, or IELTS 6.5+

Nice-to-Have Skill Sets:

• Experience with SAP Cloud ALM for Operations, SAP BTP.
• Experience with enterprise monitoring and observability tools.
• Experience in SAP technical consulting, SAP integration consulting, or SAP platform engineering.
• Familiarity with monitoring standards, service reliability concepts, and operational governance.
• Knowledge of Agile Software development methodologies, application architectural design, implementation, change management and product lifecycle (e.g. DevOps practices).

The ideal start date for this position would be 30 days from the offer and will run for 12 months.
