Advanced Demolition Operative (Topman)

Job Overview

Downwell Group is seeking an experienced Advanced Demolition Operative (Topman) to join our growing demolition team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and reliable demolition professional with a strong understanding of demolition techniques, safety standards and site operations.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting demolition projects, working safely and efficiently as part of a professional site team. We are looking for a good all-round demolition operative who can demonstrate experience, professionalism and a positive attitude. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, safety-conscious and capable of supporting a wide range of demolition activities on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out demolition works safely and efficiently in accordance with project requirements.
• Work closely with site supervisors, machine operators and demolition teams.
• Undertake soft strip, structural alteration and general demolition activities.
• Maintain a strong commitment to site health, safety and environmental standards.
• Support the safe operation of machinery and equipment where authorised and qualified.
• Assist with site set-up, material segregation and clearance activities.
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest professional standards.

Requirements

• CCDO Advanced Demolition Operative (Blue Card) or above.
• A minimum of 5 years’ demolition experience.
• Strong practical knowledge of demolition methods and procedures.
• A proactive approach to health and safety.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Excellent reliability and work ethic.

Desirable

• Machine Driver Ticket.
• Experience working alongside demolition plant and machinery.
• Experience on a variety of demolition and enabling works projects.

Pay: From £150.00 per day

• 75% (preferred)
