Advanced Engineer, Design Automation （产品配置工程师）

该职位来源于猎聘 POSITION PURPOSE: The advanced design automation engineer will need to develop and maintain the configuration & automated submittal models associated with BAC’s engineered products. The configuration & automated submittal models are critical tools used by the Sales Team to translate complex engineering information into easy-to-digest choices that are presented to customers, in the marketplace of highly customized cooling equipment.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Develop and implement global configurator product models (called ‘KMATs’) and automated submittal drawing models (called ‘Autosub’ or ‘Submittal Models’)
• Participate in the discussion with NPI (new product introduction) team to better understand the product, requirements and schedule.
• Document questions, answers, rules, and defaults for all of the options that are being offered for sale, in a product that can physically be manufactured.
• Collaborate & Coordinate with individuals in other departments (Product Development, Marketing, Manufacturing, and IT) to provide data and testing which is necessary to complete KMATs or Submittal Models and integrate them into the company’s ERP and Sales Management system.
• Stress test the models after they are developed, to ensure a high-quality user experience b) Deliver fully tested/validated KMATs/Submittal Models for each new product by a project’s launch date
• Address and resolve break/fix or improvement requests to KMAT and submittal models a) Accurately estimate and communicate project implementation actions and timelines b) Communicate/coordinate with other teams to ensure projects are delivered on time to spec, with high quality c) Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to ensure clarification of requirements and meet specific requirements in a timely manner.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & BEHAVIORS:

• Education and Experience 1. 5+ years of engineering or systems experience 2. 2+ years’ experience working with an ERP system (SAP preferred)
• 2+ years’ experience of SAP AVC/VC maintenance highly preferred
• 1+ years’ experience working with a tangible product’s Bills of Materials
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Math, or Computer
• Systems & Technical Experience
• Expert with Microsoft Excel, with a strong ability to manipulate and analyze large quantities of data (database knowledge preferred).
• Experience working with Product Configurators, strongly preferred
• Knowledge of Engineering programming in VB, C# or Python
• Proficient with at least one parametric CAD Product (Inventor, Solidworks, etc)
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems. Knowledge of BAC products, processes and manufacturing operations preferred
• Communication Experience:
• Proven record in effective written and oral communication in English
• Ability to clearly articulate scope of work, the issue or risk with identified impact and proposals for potential path forward
• Must be able to filter and summarize the raw technical details to a concise message for non-technical team members and or leadership team
