Advanced Field Support Representative

Basic Qualifications Minimum of 25 weeks of military technical training school, along with an additional 4 years of related experience is required. or 2 years of directly related non-military technical trade school or the equivalent experience, along with an additional 4 years of related experience is required. or Bachelor's degree in a technical field or the equivalent experience is required. Industry certifications are highly preferred.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Ability to obtain a TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs field activities including the installation, start-up, cutover, and checkout of newly installed systems; maintains, integrates, troubleshoots, tests, and services fielded systems/products at customer sites; and sets up and utilizes specialized test and diagnostic equipment to isolate malfunctions
• Performs equipment/system acceptance testing, following established procedures.
• Assists in cable builds and fiber optic handling/splicing.
• Maintains complete and accurate logs, documentation of all work orders, spare part inventories, and other reports as necessary.
• Works under general supervision, often with more senior Field Support Reps to plan and emplace system configuration to meet specific mission requirements.
• Provides technical support independently, displaying a high degree of resourcefulness and initiative.
• Troubleshoots and diagnoses system/equipment interface problems during installations.
• Travel may be required more than 30% of the time.
• May deploy to CONUS or OCONUS field locations.

What you bring to the table:

• Minimum of 25 weeks of military technical training school, along with an additional four years of related experience is required. OR, 2 years of directly related non-military technical trade school or the equivalent experience, along with an additional 4 years of related experience is required. OR, Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or the equivalent experience is required. Industry certifications are highly preferred
• Working knowledge of technologies associated with supported systems and the application of these technologies within the customer environment
• Knowledge of basic routing/switching commands/protocols

Target salary range: USD $40.40/Hr. - USD $43.33/Hr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
