Advanced Operator

We have an opportunity available for an Advanced Operator for our Tatachilla Site. You will be responsible for safely & effectively operate mobile plant machinery to meet daily production requirements of processing incoming soils.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Ensure that Daily / Weekly / Monthly production targets are met
• Assist with Plant Maintenance when required
• Ensure all machines and equipment are maintained regularly and to a high standard, to optimise productivity
• Operate in a safe manner at all times to optimise machine performance and operational requirements
• Process correct products and volumes to meet customer requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current HR Licence
• Front End Loader ticket (LL)
• Excavator ticket (LE)
• Dump truck licence (desirable)
• Grader ticket (desirable)
• Dozer ticket (desirable)
• Asbestos identification and handling experience
• Appropriate training of safe lockout procedures
• Manual Handling knowledge and training
• Good understanding of Chain of Responsibility laws and regulations
• Traffic management understanding and experience
• White Card
• Good organisational, interpersonal, and planning skills
• Self-motivated, and have the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
• Qualification in Cert 3 Plant Operations and supervisory experience in a waste management or similar area would both be highly desirable
