Advanced Packaging Engineer (Bumping)

1. Equipment Engineer

• Take responsibility for process control within the designated area, continually optimizing existing equipment to ensure product quality.
• Handle equipment faults and execute PM plans to maintain a smooth production workflow.
• Collaborate in the acceptance of newly purchased equipment within your area of responsibility.
• Manage equipment spare parts, including inventory, procurement, and technical verification.
• Oversee the management of tools, kits, standard samples, and similar resources within the designated area.

2 Process Engineer

• Take charge of process control within the designated area, continuously optimizing existing processes to ensure product quality.
• Handle equipment faults and execute PM plans to maintain a smooth production workflow.
• Implement and verify cost reduction initiatives within the area of responsibility.
• Conduct validation work for new processes and materials within the designated area.
• Collaborate in the acceptance of newly purchased equipment within responsibility area.

3 NPI Engineer

• Design specialized graphic fixtures, based on product requirements and equipment performance, ensuring compliance with company design rules, customer product quality requirements, and production capacity.
• Develop technical proposals for new products, including product structure, processes, equipment, materials, quality control measures, and frequency, along with budget data for review and approval.
• Collect data on the early stage of products and monitor early flow products during the start of HVM, transitioning from sample production to batch production smoothly, and addressing any issues that arise during the early stage.
• Define and update the BOM for new products.

4 Product Development Engineer

• Collect and analyse yield and quality metrics and manage data to implement continuous improvement strategies and process capability enhancements.
• Coordinate quality-related customer interactions and internal issue resolutions, ensuring compliance with departmental and regulatory audits.
• Perform line audits to ensure product is meeting quality requirement.
• Liaise with the engineering and production teams to solve internal and external quality issues.
• Implement and maintain the necessary Quality Assurance Inspections and process controls to ensure conformance to product specifications at minimum cost.
• Compile, monitor identified problems, process deviations and follow-up on the corrective action.

Job Qualifications

• Degree in any Engineering or a related field.
• 0–5 years of relevant experience in a technical, engineering, or manufacturing environment.
• Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications may also be considered.
• Willing to work at Batu Kawan.
