Role Overview The position involves providing comprehensive healthcare in designated primary or specialty areas, including patient assessments, diagnoses, treatment, education, and referrals. The provider serves as a clinical resource, role model, and trainer for practitioners and students, ensuring high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include performing physical exams, documenting findings accurately, collaborating with physicians, and involving patients and families in care planning.

Key Duties

• Performing clinical activities such as history taking, physical exams, assessments, and care planning.
• Educating patients and families to promote self-management and follow-up.
• Training and supervising APP students, residents, and other healthcare trainees.
• Staying updated on practice trends through seminars, journals, and professional organizations.
• Fostering positive team relationships and ensuring patient-centered care.
• Maintaining compliance with all regulations, licensure, and certification requirements.
• Identifying process improvements and participating in quality assurance projects.
• Contributing to departmental goals and participating in committees and research activities.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate degree in nursing or Physician Assistant program with relevant licensure and certification.
• Minimum of 3 years clinical experience as an APP or 5 years in any field.
• Current healthcare provider BLS certification.
• Strong clinical, leadership, communication, and patient-centered skills.
