  • Recognize when work should be stopped, contained, or escalated due to quality, safety, documentation, or customer requirement concerns
  • Make sound decisions within assigned authority and seek clarification when requirements are unclear
  • Work with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Toolroom to help identify and resolve quality issues
  • Support containment, sorting, reinspection, and disposition activities as directed
  • Assist with root-cause investigation and corrective action follow-up as needed
  • Manage changing priorities and multiple inspection requests while maintaining accuracy, documentation, and inspection discipline
  • Follow assigned work through completion and communicate delays, constraints, or unresolved concerns promptly
  • Maintain proper use, care, and handling of inspection tools and equipment
  • Support calibration awareness and notify Quality leadership of equipment concerns
  • Assist with training or coaching less-experienced inspectors or operators on inspection practices as appropriate
  • Receive technical feedback professionally and make corrections when required
  • Follow all safety procedures, quality requirements, work instructions, and customer-specific expectations
  • Support continuous improvement, inspection process discipline, and quality system effectiveness
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support Quality and Manufacturing Operations

  • Ability to document inspection results clearly and accurately
  • Ability to work effectively as a hands-on individual contributor without requiring continual direction
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and documentation discipline
  • Sound judgment to identify when issues require containment, escalation, or clarification
  • Professional response to feedback, corrections, and changing quality or production needs
  • Strong follow-through and communication when work is delayed, incomplete, or blocked
