Advanced Specialist Technical Planning for Mechanical Production

What awaits you?

• Lead the technical planning, industrialization, and implementation of tooling technologies to achieve quality, cost, volume, and project timeline targets.
• Manage the procurement, installation, commissioning, and ramp-up of tooling equipment and manufacturing systems for mechanical production.
• Act as the key interface between BMW Plant Berlin and BMW Manufacturing Thailand, ensuring alignment with BMW Group standards, best practices, and local regulatory requirements.
• Develop, optimize, and sustain manufacturing facilities, including production processes, tooling equipment, logistics concepts, IT systems, and workplace safety measures.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in tooling technology, process capability, production readiness, capacity planning, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Lead facility modifications, technology upgrades, change management activities, and future investment projects to support business growth and operational excellence.
• Oversee tooling-related budgets, investment planning, supplier management, technical evaluations, and audit activities to ensure project success.
• Provide technical leadership and expert support to cross-functional teams, fostering innovation, problem-solving, and knowledge transfer across the organization.

What should you bring along?

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Logistics Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 years of professional experience in Technical Planning, Tooling Technology, Mechanical Production, or Manufacturing Engineering within an industrial environment.
• Proven leadership experience in managing cross-functional projects, international collaborations, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Strong technical knowledge of CNC machining, CAD/CAM applications, tooling systems, manufacturing engineering principles, material science, and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Experience in equipment procurement, installation, commissioning, production ramp-up, and manufacturing process optimization.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills with the ability to manage complex technical and business challenges.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in an international environment.
• Fluent in English and Thai, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and a solid understanding of modern production systems and manufacturing standards.
