Advanced Tooling Engineer

• Support project related tooling quotation, deep dive of all possible optimization solutions.
• Balance tooling cost and product quality.
• Evaluate new tooling concepts and follow-up on market trends.
• Build long term tooling strategy, propose innovative and competitive solution.
• Long term develops internal mold flow capability.
• Understand customer technical requirements, network between design and production.
• Seeking new materials, manufacturing methods, comments to business team as a supplier.
• Regular travel to supplier side, etc…
• Join engineering and production meeting, share updates & insights.
• Other tasks assigned by line manager. 任职要求:
• Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Mechanical Engineering. (or equivalent)
• 7-10 years’ experience in tooling area.
• Experience of whole tooling business management.
• Overall tooling and production cost awareness.
• Successful launch tooling project management, involved from quotation to design and deliver.
• Background of plastic and metal related raw material knowledge.
• Major in tooling but also knowledge of additive manufacturing.
• Close to market trends.
• Strong teamwork spirit and good communication skills.
• Willing and capable of frequent business travel.
• Fluent English is a must.
• Be able to work under pressure and independently.
