Role & responsibilities

1. Proof reading of drafts of deeds, petitions, etc.

2. Legal research for judgments and case laws on topics of Civil Court matters.

3. Scrutiny, review and drafting of various deeds and documents and revenue records (in English and Marathi);

4. Investigation of Title and Due Diligence for acquisition of properties;

5. Compliance work for registration of projects with MahaRERA;

6. Handling litigation in RERA tribunals, Civil Courts including Revenue Courts, Consumer Courts, etc.

7. Various online legal services through government websites such as IGR Maharashtra, etc.

Preferred candidate profile

The candidate should be well versed with Microsoft Word and is expected to have basic knowledge of CPC, The Transfer of Property Act, The Maharashtra Stamp Act, The Registration Fee Act, MLRC, etc.
