We provide AED (defibrillator) sales, performance testing and compliance services, first aid training, and wider medical emergency solutions nationwide. We are a hands-on, fast-moving business that values initiative, reliability, professionalism and exceptional customer relationships.

We are looking for a practical, customer-focused person to take ownership of AED service delivery and customer growth across the South Island.

A Bit About The Role:
This is primarily a field-based AED testing and customer service role.

The role has three clear priorities:

• AED performance testing and service delivery – the largest and most important part of the role

• Business development and account growth – building customer relationships and identifying new opportunities

• Training delivery – facilitating first aid and other workplace training for South Island customers

A large proportion of your time will be spent completing onsite AED performance testing, supporting customers with compliance requirements, and providing installations and product demonstrations.

You will use those customer visits to build strong relationships, identify unmet needs and grow the use of Heart Saver products and services. In addition, you will also deliver first aid or related workplace training.

The role is based in Christchurch and involves up to 10 days per month travelling outside Christchurch across the South Island. You will need to be comfortable working independently, undertaking regional travel and representing Heart Saver professionally in a wide range of workplaces.

Full training in Heart Saver’s AED testing processes and compliance services will be provided.

What you will be responsible for:

• Complete onsite AED performance testing and scheduled customer visits
• Maintain accurate testing, compliance and customer records
• Support AED installations, product demonstrations and customer queries
• Manage existing customer relationships and identify opportunities to expand services
• Develop new business across AED sales, performance testing services, training and related solutions
• Keep opportunities, follow-ups and account information current in the CRM
• Deliver engaging first aid and other related workplace training
• Represent Heart Saver across the South Island with professionalism and care

The role involves up to 10 days per month of regional travel outside of Christchurch.

About You:
You are practical, methodical and comfortable working with equipment, systems and detailed records. Just as importantly, you enjoy dealing with customers and can recognise when a service conversation may lead to a genuine business opportunity.

You will bring:

• Experience in field service, technical customer service, compliance services, account management or business development
• Proven confidence building customer relationships and developing commercial opportunities
• Strong organisation, follow-through and attention to detail
• The ability to manage your own schedule, travel and regional workload
• Confidence using CRM systems and maintaining accurate records
• A proactive, self-motivated approach and willingness to learn
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Availability to travel regularly throughout the South Island

Experience in healthcare, emergency services, health and safety, medical equipment or workplace services would be preferable, but not essential.

Previous training or facilitation experience is an advantage.
