What they need

Corvid's Launch Systems team requires the addition of an experienced Fire Control System (FCS)/Aegis Weapon System (AWS) to support our growing product portfolio – and that growth is in both number of products as well as complexity. The engineer will join a matrixed team working to finalize development, test, and ultimately produce launch systems for DoW customers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the Systems Engineering and Integration of the FCS/AWS with significant coordination across both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and manage program activities across multi-functional teams
  • Transition complex data into clear narratives, influencing stakeholders, and delivering reliable schedule products that drive program success (ARTIFACTS)
  • Produce, review and manage engineering documents
  • Prepare technical and position papers, engineering briefs, schedules and risk management documents
  • Assist in the application of innovative digital engineering and agile acquisition processes in the execution of assigned tasks

Requirements:

  • Candidate must be a US Citizen with Active Secret Clearance
  • Master's Degree in a STEM Discipline and at least 10 years of experience working similar DoW or Missile Defense programs
  • Experience in developing and managing overall project plans, coordinating with individuals and management across diverse functions
  • Analytical planner with deep expertise in schedule integration, critical path analysis, and risk mitigation
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to provide program oversight and recommendations for resolution of complex technical issues to Senior Leadership within the Program Office and DOW Leadership
  • Familiarity with Navy Weapon Systems is preferred
  • Experience in Microsoft Office products (Excel and PowerPoint)
