Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced AEM Developer / Technical Lead to provide technical leadership and hands-on development for large-scale Adobe Experience Manager projects.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AEM development, custom components, OSGi bundles, workflows, content migration, REST and SOAP integrations, performance optimization, and technical design. This role will lead a development team while remaining actively involved in architecture, design, development, code quality, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a technical team of approximately 8 12 members and take ownership of technical deliverables.
• Define technical designs and translate architecture into detailed implementation specifications.
• Provide technical direction and resolve development roadblocks.
• Drive end-to-end technical delivery of AEM solutions.
• Develop automated unit tests and promote strong test coverage.
• Define development best practices and ensure adherence to engineering standards.
• Collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, product teams, and development teams.
• Support backlog prioritization, technical estimation, and dependency identification.
• Identify technical blockers associated with user stories and drive resolution.
• Analyze non-functional requirements and define approaches for meeting performance and scalability benchmarks.
• Optimize AEM application performance.
• Estimate modules, features, and user stories.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain high standards for code quality.
• Mentor developers and promote technical best practices.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of overall technology experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on AEM development or technical lead experience.
• Strong ability to understand enterprise architecture and translate it into detailed technical designs.
• At least two full lifecycle AEM 6.x implementation experiences, preferably with AEM 6.3 or later.
• Deep expertise developing custom AEM components using JSP and HTL/Sightly.
• Strong experience developing OSGi bundles.
• Knowledge of AEM workflows, user management, roles, and internationalization.
• Experience performing content migration into AEM, including automated migration approaches.
• Experience consuming and integrating REST and SOAP services.
• Strong understanding of application performance optimization and scalability.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management capabilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• AEM Lead Developer or Architect certification.
• Experience with personalization use cases.
• Knowledge of Adobe Launch and Adobe Analytics.
• Agile development experience.
• Experience integrating AEM with eCommerce platforms.
• Understanding of both headless and traditional AEM architectures.
• API development experience.
