Position: Senior Aviation Maintenance Inspector

Type: Contract

Compensation: $70 - $130/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week

Role Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and annotate aircraft maintenance manuals and related technical documents.
• Evaluate borescope engine inspection data, identifying anomalies and recommending corrective actions.
• Assess composite structure inspection processes, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Interpret approach plates and flight operations briefing materials for navigational accuracy.
• Deliver comprehensive insights on maintenance and inspection procedures for AI model development.
• Cross-reference maintenance tasks with FAA regulations to ensure compliance.

Requirements

• Have strong relevant experience in aircraft maintenance, inspection, and regulatory compliance.
• Expertise with borescope engine inspection and interpretation of resulting imagery and reports.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting maintenance manuals, IPCs, and approach plates.
• Thorough working knowledge of FAA Parts 43, 121, 135, and 145 regulations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities, with a strong attention to detail.
