What they need

Overview

At PEAK, we're passionate about helping people feel their best, supporting their health, confidence and overall wellbeing.

We are an independent, multidisciplinary injury rehabilitation and wellbeing clinic based in Worle, Weston-super-Mare. Our growing team brings together healthcare professionals across physiotherapy, sports therapy, osteopathy, rehabilitation and wellbeing, providing a professional and personalised approach to patient care.

As we continue to expand our services, we're looking for a skilled, motivated and professional Aesthetic Practitioner to join Team PEAK.

This is a self-employed associate opportunity, offering the flexibility to build and develop your own client base within an established multidisciplinary clinic, with access to PEAK's facilities, administrative support and opportunities for internal referrals.

We are particularly interested in an experienced aesthetics practitioner who is passionate about delivering safe, high-quality, evidence-informed treatments, with a focus on natural-looking results, patient confidence and long-term skin health.

You'll have the opportunity to develop your own aesthetics service while working within a modern, welcoming and professional clinical environment that places patient safety, quality and experience at the centre of everything we do.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake comprehensive aesthetic consultations, including medical history, treatment suitability, contraindications and individual patient goals.
  • Develop personalised treatment plans that reflect each patient's needs, expectations and clinical suitability.
  • Deliver a range of non-surgical aesthetic treatments within your professional competence, training and insurance coverage.
  • Provide treatments such as anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers, skin boosters, chemical peels and other appropriate skin rejuvenation procedures.
  • Offer professional advice on skincare, preventative treatments and long-term skin health.
  • Ensure patients receive clear information about treatment options, expected outcomes, potential risks and alternative approaches.
  • Obtain and document informed consent before undertaking treatments.
  • Provide comprehensive pre-treatment and aftercare advice, including appropriate follow-up arrangements.
  • Recognise, manage and escalate treatment complications in accordance with professional guidance and established clinical protocols.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential clinical records in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.
  • Uphold high standards of hygiene, infection prevention, patient safety and clinical governance.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider PEAK team to provide a positive and professional patient experience.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and growth of aesthetics and skin health services within PEAK.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential

  • Current registration with a professional body.
  • Recognised training and qualifications in the aesthetic treatments you intend to provide.
  • Appropriate professional indemnity insurance covering all treatments undertaken.
  • Sound understanding of facial anatomy, skin physiology, aesthetic assessment and treatment-related risks.
  • Knowledge of infection prevention, informed consent, safeguarding and patient confidentiality.
  • Ability to recognise and appropriately manage complications associated with aesthetic procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage appointments and maintain professional clinical standards.
  • Commitment to ethical, evidence-informed and patient-centred aesthetic practice.

Desirable

  • Established experience delivering injectable aesthetic treatments, including anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers.
  • Additional training in advanced facial aesthetics, skin rejuvenation or regenerative skin treatments.
  • Experience providing skin boosters, microneedling, chemical peels or other non-surgical aesthetic procedures.
  • Experience working within private practice or a multidisciplinary healthcare clinic.
  • An established client base or experience developing an independent aesthetics business.
  • Independent prescribing qualification, where relevant to the treatments offered.
  • Experience in patient education, clinical mentoring or service development.
  • Interest in developing specialist skin health and aesthetic wellbeing services.

What We Offer Our Clinicians

At PEAK, we believe successful clinical partnerships are built on collaboration, professional independence and shared standards of patient care.

We want our associate practitioners to feel part of Team PEAK while maintaining the flexibility and autonomy of self-employment.

We offer:

  • Modern Clinical Environment: Access to professional treatment rooms within our established injury rehabilitation and wellbeing clinic.
  • Established Clinic Presence: The opportunity to operate within a growing healthcare business with an existing patient community.
  • Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work alongside a team of healthcare professionals who share a commitment to quality, professionalism and patient wellbeing.
  • Patient Referrals: Opportunities to receive internal referrals and introduce your services to PEAK's wider patient community where appropriate.
  • Administrative Support: Access to clinic booking systems and administrative support to assist with appointments and patient enquiries.
  • Flexible Working: Self-employed arrangements with working days and hours agreed around clinic availability and service demand.
  • Professional Autonomy: The opportunity to develop your own aesthetics caseload, specialist interests and treatment offering within agreed clinical and professional standards.
  • Professional Development: A supportive environment that encourages knowledge sharing, clinical discussion and continued development.
  • Marketing Opportunities: Opportunities to promote your services through PEAK's existing marketing channels, website and community presence.
  • Growth Opportunities: The chance to help shape and expand our aesthetics and skin health offering as PEAK continues to develop.

Self-Employed Opportunity

This position is offered on a self-employed associate basis, rather than as a salaried employment role.

The successful practitioner will have the opportunity to establish and grow their own client base while benefiting from the facilities, professional environment and collaborative opportunities available at PEAK.

Commercial arrangements, including room rental or revenue-sharing options, will be discussed with suitable applicants.

We welcome conversations with established aesthetic practitioners looking to relocate or expand their existing business, as well as experienced clinicians seeking to develop their private aesthetics practice within a supportive multidisciplinary setting.

Practitioners will be expected to maintain their own professional registration, appropriate treatment qualifications and insurance, and work within their professional scope of practice and applicable prescribing requirements.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for more than someone who simply wants to use a treatment room.

We want a practitioner who shares our commitment to delivering high-quality patient care, building lasting professional relationships and providing safe, ethical aesthetic treatments.

You'll be approachable, professional and confident in your clinical abilities, with a genuine interest in becoming part of a collaborative healthcare team.

You'll understand the importance of realistic patient expectations, informed decision-making and achieving results that support confidence and wellbeing.

We're particularly interested in someone who values natural-looking outcomes, takes pride in their work and wants to develop a trusted aesthetics service that complements PEAK's wider health and wellbeing offering.

Whether you're an established Aesthetic Practitioner looking for a new clinical environment or an experienced practitioner wanting to expand your private practice, we'd love to hear from you.

Join Team PEAK

PEAK is continuing to grow, and we're looking for like-minded healthcare professionals who want to be part of our journey.

If you're passionate about aesthetics, skin health and helping people feel confident in themselves, we'd welcome an informal conversation.
