Aesthetician

The Aesthetician is responsible for delivering high-quality non-invasive aesthetic, skincare, and body treatments while providing exceptional patient care and customer service. This role involves assessing client skin conditions, recommending customized treatment plans and medical-grade skincare products, operating specialized clinic devices safely, and maintaining strict clinical standards of hygiene and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

1. Patient Consultations & Assessment

• Conduct thorough skin consultations, skin type analysis, and patient history intake prior to procedures.
• Identify contraindications, skin sensitivities, or underlying conditions and refer patients to the attending Physician/Medical Director when necessary.
• Educate clients on realistic treatment expectations, potential downtime, and comprehensive pre- and post-treatment care routines.

2. Treatment Execution & Clinical Procedures

• Perform a wide range of non-invasive facial and body treatments according to clinic protocols (e.g., medical facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, microneedling, LED light therapy, body sculpting, and laser/RF treatments).
• Ensure proper setup, calibration, sanitation, and operation of all aesthetic machines and clinical equipment.
• Document all client treatments, product formulas used, machine parameters, and progress notes accurately in the clinic management system (HRIS/EMR).

3. Client Care & Relationship Management

• Deliver a warm, welcoming, and relaxing environment for all clients throughout their visits.
• Build long-term client trust through personalized follow-ups, post-treatment check-ins, and consistent care.
• Handle client inquiries, concerns, or mild treatment reactions calmly and professionally, adhering to clinic protocol for incident escalation.

4. Product Sales & Cross-Selling

• Recommend and upsell appropriate homecare skincare products, treatment packages, and maintenance plans tailored to each client’s goals.
• Meet or exceed monthly treatment performance and retail sales targets set by management.

5. Clinic Safety, Inventory & Maintenance

• Maintain exemplary standards of room cleanliness, sterilization of reusable tools, and disposal of clinical consumables.
• Monitor treatment room inventory, report low stock of serums, consumables, and products to the Procurement/Inventory team in a timely manner.
• Comply strictly with clinic health and safety regulations, hygiene standards, and infection control procedures.

Qualifications & SkillsRequirements & Experience

• Education: K-12 Curriculum or High School Graduate
• Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of hands-on experience as an Aesthetician or Clinical Therapist in an aesthetic clinic or medical spa.
• Certifications: Certification in advanced skincare, machine operation (e.g., Laser, RF, HIFU), or medical esthetics is strongly preferred.

Technical & Soft Skills

• Deep knowledge of skin anatomy, dermatological conditions, ingredient safety, and facial aesthetics.
• Demonstrated proficiency in operating aesthetic equipment and performing manual facial/body techniques.
• Strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Confident sales ability with an empathetic, consultative approach.
• High attention to detail, hygienic practices, and patient safety.

Working Conditions

• Works in a clean, professional, and clinical environment.
• May require standing for extended periods and manual dexterity for precise procedures.
• Standard clinic operating hours, including weekends or shifts as assigned.

Salary Range - PHP 20,000 - PHP 25,000

Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php25,000.00 per month
