After Care and Summer Program Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee after-care and summer programs that align with educational goals and community needs.
• Supervise staff members, including teachers, activity coordinators, and support personnel, ensuring high-quality program delivery.
• Coordinate daily schedules, activities, field trips, and special events to promote student engagement and learning.
• Maintain compliance with safety protocols, licensing requirements, and health regulations to ensure a secure environment for children.
• Collaborate with school administrators, parents, and community partners to communicate program updates and address concerns effectively.
• Manage administrative tasks such as enrollment records, attendance tracking, budgeting, and reporting using educational administrative software.
• Lead team meetings, provide staff training on childcare best practices, and foster a positive team culture focused on professional growth.

Requirements

• Proven experience in childcare settings or early childhood education centers with a strong understanding of child development principles.
• Prior experience in education administration or school program management is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise staff effectively and manage team dynamics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and educational administrative software tools.
• Excellent written communication skills for report writing, documentation, and correspondence with stakeholders.
• Background in higher education teaching or university experience related to education administration is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
