Description
We are seeking a dedicated After School Aide to provide leadership and support in developing and implementing a safe and age-appropriate after school program for school-age youth. This role will work under the close supervision of the Afterschool Program Coordinator.
Responsibilities:
Create and cultivate meaningful connections with young individuals.
Assist in carrying out age-appropriate activities as directed by the Program Coordinator, Club Teacher, and Mentor.
Participate in yearly staff training sessions, staff gatherings, and other assignments.
Support children in excelling within inclusive programs.
Perform other reasonable tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator.
Attend and assist with Youth Program events.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old.
- 6 months of experience in school age programs or comparable experience.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- This position requires up to date physical and immunization records.
- CPR and/or First Aid Certification, preferred.
Salary Description
$16.00 Hourly
