After School Primary Educator

About the role

We are looking for a responsible, caring and enthusiastic Trilingual Primary Teacher to join our daycare and after-school learning centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding and teaching children from Primary 1 to Primary 6, including homework, revision and daily academic activities.

Key responsibilities

• Teach and guide students from Primary 1 to Primary 6
• Assist students with daily homework and school assignments
• Teach and support students in Chinese, English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Provide revision and examination preparation
• Support students in subjects such as Chinese, English, BM, Mathematics and Science
• Prepare simple lesson plans, exercises and learning activities
• Monitor students' academic progress and provide feedback
• Maintain a positive, safe and well-disciplined learning environment
• Manage classroom activities and student behaviour
• Communicate professionally with parents regarding students' learning progress

About you

• Minimum Certificate or Diploma qualification
• Able to communicate confidently in Chinese, English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Able to teach students from Primary 1 to Primary 6
• Good understanding of the Malaysian primary-school syllabus will be an added advantage
• Strong communication and classroom-management skills
• Patient, responsible and caring towards children
• Enjoys working with children and is able to motivate students to learn
• Previous teaching, tutoring, tuition-centre or childcare experience is an advantage
• Fresh graduates with the right attitude and strong language skills are welcome to apply
