No prior chess knowledge is needed.

The Position:

This is a part-time, after-school coaching position designed to bring our engaging chess curriculum to elementary schools across Las Vegas. Coaches will spend most of their time leading fun and high-energy chess classes for students using our nationally developed curriculum.

Responsibilities:

• Transport materials to and from school site (May require lifting up to 30 lbs.)
• Set up classroom before class and clean up afterward
• Lead weekly chess lessons using the provided curriculum
• Create a welcoming, inclusive, and high-energy environment
• Build positive relationships with students, parents, and school staff

Qualifications:

• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver’s license
• Up-to-date car insurance
• Ability to pass a background check
