After-School Program Coordinator

Duties

• Lead the design and implementation of after-school curriculum tailored to diverse student needs and developmental levels
• Supervise staff members, including teachers, aides, and volunteers, ensuring effective team management and adherence to program standards
• Coordinate daily program activities, ensuring safety protocols are followed and schedules are maintained
• Collaborate with school administrators, parents, and community partners to support student success and engagement
• Maintain detailed records using educational administrative software for attendance, progress reports, and incident documentation
• Oversee childcare operations within the program environment to ensure a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere
• Develop new initiatives to enhance program offerings based on feedback and educational best practices

Experience

• Strong working knowledge of productivity software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and educational administrative software systems
• Experience working directly with students of various age groups, especially in after-school or childcare environments
• Prior involvement in program development or educational programming that promotes student engagement and learning outcomes
• Excellent writing skills for documentation, reports, and communication with stakeholders
