Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate a variety of youth group activities, including arts and crafts, outdoor games, educational projects, and recreational sports.
• Manage classroom behavior using positive behavior management techniques to maintain a respectful and inclusive environment.
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
• Implement first aid and CPR procedures promptly in case of minor injuries or emergencies, following established first aid protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to plan daily schedules that balance fun, learning, and physical activity.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with children in educational, childcare, camp, or youth program settings is highly preferred.
• Strong classroom management skills combined with the ability to foster a positive environment for diverse learners.
• Valid certifications in first aid, CPR, and AED operation are required; ongoing training in first aid protocols is expected.
• Experience with childhood development theories and behavior management strategies is advantageous.
• Excellent child supervision skills with a focus on safety and engagement during all activities.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
