Join Our Team as an Afterschool Counselor!

Do you love working with kids and making a positive impact every day? We’re looking for energetic, caring, and creative Afterschool Counselors to join our team this school year! This is the perfect role for someone who wants to inspire children, build meaningful connections, and create a safe and fun afterschool experience.

As an Afterschool Counselor, you’ll do more than supervise—you’ll be a mentor, activity leader, and role model, helping children grow socially, emotionally, and academically.

What You’ll Do:

• Keep Kids Safe & Engaged – Supervise children during afterschool hours, ensuring their well-being and fostering a positive environment.
• Lead Fun & Creative Activities – Plan and run exciting games, arts & crafts, sports, and enrichment activities that kids love.
• Support Learning – Offer guidance with homework and projects, encouraging children to succeed and build confidence.
• Build Relationships – Encourage teamwork, kindness, and friendships while being a trusted mentor to the kids.
• Communicate with Families & Staff – Share updates, celebrate wins, and work closely with parents and colleagues to provide the best experience.
• Promote Respect & Inclusion – Use positive behavior strategies to maintain a welcoming environment for all children.
• Work as a Team – Collaborate with fellow counselors to create a strong, supportive program.
