After School Program Staff at Mary Snow and Abraham Lincoln Schools

We are looking for individuals who are interested in working with students after school, in a fun, activity-based environment. We need folks to both lead high interest enrichment programs, as well as provide support for volunteers and outside contractors leading programs. Programs at Mary Snow (grades 4-5) run from 3:15-4, and from 3:15-4:10 at Abraham Lincoln (grades k-3). Applicants must have valid CHRC, and experience working with school aged children.

Two Specific Programs we are looking for leads for:

Coding with Kids After School Program leader. We are looking for someone to lead a quarterly coding club with students either at the k-3 or 4-5 level. They should have experience both with coding and with teaching elementary aged children. Programs for grades 4-5 run from 3-4:15, and 3:15-4:10 for grades k-3. The coding program would run once a week, with flexibility as to which day (M-Th).

Mission Club Leader. Mission Club is a technical, hands-on club where students learn practical life and survival skills through exciting team challenges, games, and missions. Each session gives students the opportunity to work together, solve problems, and put their skills to the test in a fun and supportive environment. Students will learn skills such as reading maps and using a compass, tying knots, basic first-aid, communication, teamwork, problem-solving, outdoor awareness, and more. We are looking for someone with relevant technical skills and experience working with elementary aged children. The program will run from 3:15-4:00pm for grades 4-5. A CHRC is required.
