Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Camp Counselors to join our team for an enriching experience. As a Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for campers. You will be responsible for leading activities, providing support, and fostering positive relationships with campers while ensuring their well-being and personal growth.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage with campers during daily activities, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience.
• Plan, organize, and implement age-appropriate activities that promote teamwork, creativity, and personal development.
• Provide guidance and support to campers in various settings, including outdoor adventures, arts and crafts, sports, and educational programs.
• Foster a positive camp culture by encouraging inclusivity, respect, and cooperation among campers.
• Communicate effectively with campers' parents or guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
• Assist in managing behavior through effective behavior management strategies to ensure a positive environment for all participants.
• Collaborate with fellow counselors to create a cohesive team atmosphere that enhances the overall camp experience.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students or children in a camp setting is highly desirable.
• Strong classroom management skills to maintain order and facilitate learning in group settings.
• Previous childcare or tutoring experience is beneficial for supporting camper needs effectively.
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques to address various camper behaviors positively.
• Experience in daycare can enhance the creative aspects of camp programming.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with children of diverse backgrounds.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
