Duties

• Supervise and engage children during after-school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
• Plan and facilitate a variety of educational, recreational, and creative activities tailored to different age groups
• Manage classroom behavior using positive discipline strategies and effective behavior management techniques
• Maintain a clean, organized environment that promotes safety and encourages active participation
• Collaborate with parents, guardians, and team members to support each child's individual needs and development goals
• Implement first aid / CPR as needed
• Lead outdoor activities and supervise children during field trips or outdoor play sessions, ensuring safety protocols are followed

Skills

• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to maintain order while fostering a fun learning environment
• Experience working with children in educational or recreational settings, including camp or youth programs
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and special education strategies to support diverse learners
• Ability to drive school van for pick up kids from Elementary school.
• Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate children and manage group dynamics positively

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
