Aftercare Assistant: Generation Schools Sunningdale Campus

Our Aftercare is growing at our Generation Sunningdale campus, based in Sunningdale, Parklands, and we require an Aftercare Assistant to support our afternoon and holiday care programme.This individual should be a caring, responsible, and energetic team member who enjoys working with children and supporting a positive after-school environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support children during the aftercare programme
• Assist with homework supervision and provide guidance where needed
• Facilitate age-appropriate play, activities, and outdoor time
• Ensure a safe, calm, and well-organised environment for children
• Support educators in maintaining routines and behavioural expectations
• Communicate respectfully with children, parents, and colleagues
• Ensure the wellbeing and safety of all children at all times

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience working with children in a school, aftercare, or childcare environment
• Ability to supervise groups of children in a structured and supportive manner
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Responsible, patient, and reliable
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Police clearance

• Ability to remain calm and positive in a busy environment
