Afternoon K-2 Teacher Assistant

Job Summary

Join our Christian based educational, hybrid homeschool community as an Afternoon K-2 Teacher Assistant, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a nurturing and engaging environment for young learners Mondays - Thursdays from 12-4pm.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teachers with the afternoon routine, academic reinforcement , including literacy or math activities tailored to K-2 students
• Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping maintain a safe, organized learning environment
• Engage with students individually or in small groups to reinforce lesson concepts and provide additional instructional support
• Aid in the preparation of instructional materials and classroom setup to facilitate smooth daily operations
• Assist with end of the day cleaning

Skills

• Experience working with young children in educational or childcare settings, including preschool or daycare environments
• Great team player, collaborative , and reliable

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
