Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly, answering questions, and offering product recommendations based on individual preferences and needs.
• Conduct product demos to educate customers about various items, highlighting features and benefits to enhance their shopping experience.
• Operate the cash register efficiently, handling retail sales transactions with accuracy and professionalism, including cash handling and cash drawer management.
• Upsell products by identifying customer needs and suggesting additional items or upgrades to maximize sales opportunities.
• Maintain stock levels on the sales floor through stocking, merchandising, and organizing products to ensure an attractive and accessible display.
• Use Dutchie POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, returns, and inventory tracking while adhering to cash handling procedures.
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when taking orders or answering inquiries, ensuring clear communication at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a customer service or budtending role.
• Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills and the ability to oversee daily store operations.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively; bilingual abilities are highly valued.
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, retail math, and cash drawer handling.
• Knowledge of retail store products and merchandising techniques to create appealing displays.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for transactions and inventory management.
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to foster positive interactions both in person and over the phone.

Pay: $16.80 - $17.80 per hour
