What they need

We are recruiting an Aftersales IT Manager on behalf of one automotive client in Madrid . Reporting to the Aftersales Director EUB, you will lead the European aftersales systems roadmap and connect dealer networks, European markets and headquarters IT in China.

We are looking for an IT project or product management professional with hands-on experience in automotive aftersales or dealer systems, such as Dealer Management Systems (DMS), warranty management, parts catalogues, technical information platforms or automotive CRM.

Your responsibilities

  • Own the European aftersales IT and digital roadmap, including annual project planning and budgets.

  • Serve as the main liaison with headquarters IT in China, translating European business and regulatory requirements into global system developments.

  • Act as Product Owner for aftersales systems: gather requirements, prioritise backlogs, define functional specifications, coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and lead go-live.

  • Manage system integrations and data flows between dealer DMS, market platforms and headquarters systems, covering repair orders, warranty claims, parts information and service history.

  • Lead system roll-outs across European markets, including deployment planning, key-user coordination, training, support and adoption.

  • Oversee system maintenance and continuous improvement, and develop AI use cases from business case and pilot through to roll-out.

  • Work with Legal and IT to address GDPR, the EU Data Act, RMI/SERMI, the Battery Regulation and digital battery passport requirements, and the EU AI Act.

  • Apply IT security, access management and business continuity standards.

  • Establish common aftersales data definitions, KPIs and BI dashboards for European management and headquarters.

Required experience and qualifications

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related discipline.

  • At least 8 years of experience in IT or digital project/product management, including at least 3 years working with automotive aftersales or dealer systems.

  • Experience deploying systems across multiple European countries and collaborating with headquarters outside Europe.

  • Strong understanding of automotive aftersales processes and relevant systems, such as DMS, warranty management, parts catalogues, technical information systems or CRM.

  • Good understanding of API integration, cloud platforms, data management, BI tools and AI applications.

  • Working knowledge of EU regulations affecting automotive aftersales systems.

  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-cultural communication skills, with a structured, practical and data-driven approach.

  • Fluent English and willingness to travel within Europe and to headquarters in China.

Relevant automotive aftersales systems experience may come from an automotive manufacturer, dealer group, software provider, systems integrator or IT consultancy.

Why join

This is an opportunity to help build the European aftersales systems landscape of a growing global automotive group. You will have direct exposure to European leadership and headquarters, meaningful decision-making scope and the opportunity to shape how dealer workshops operate across Europe
