Afterschool playworker

Due to the nature of our work, appointment will only be confirmed once an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring certificate and acceptable references have been obtained.

HOURS OF WORK-

Monday-Thursday 2:30pm until 5:30pm (term time only)

KEY RESPONSABILITIES-

• Safeguard children at all times by following policies and procedures
• Support children’s emotional & social development and encourage positive self-concepts
• Set out the learning environment to suit the age range of the children
• Accompany children from school to the provision

PERSON SPECIFICATION- Skills, aptitude, knowledge and experience

• Ability to work effectively within a team- E
• Ability to build effective working relationships with children & colleagues- E
• Ability to promote positive influences - E
• Good use of self-initiative skills- E
• Level 2/3 Childcare Qualification- D

Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour

Experience:

• Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
