3-Year Cadetship Programme – Learn a Trade, Build a Career

AGB Stone is a growing stone benchtop manufacturing and installation business. This is a 3-year cadetship programme designed to take you from a beginner through to a highly skilled member of the team. Over three years, you'll get hands-on training and experience across almost every part of the business, with a clear pathway into a long-term career with AGB Stone.

Previous experience isn't the most important thing to us.

What matters is: Reliability. Attitude. Work ethic. Willingness to learn.

Key responsibilities

Year 1 – Learn the basics:

• Stone installation working alongside experienced installers
• Joining stone benchtops
• Silicone work
• Sinks and vanities
• Polishing and fabrication
• Manual cutting and tool skills
• Reading job plans
• Introduction to CAD drawing

Year 2 – Machines & Technology:

• CNC bridge saw operation
• CNC lathe operation
• Machine programming
• Basic machine maintenance
• Production planning
• Time management and problem solving
• Understanding materials and production

Year 3 – Advanced Skills:

• Advanced machine operation
• Machine set-ups and basic repairs
• Advanced CAD drawing
• Programming jobs
• Building plans and technical drawings
• Advanced problem solving
• Templating and measuring
• Working directly with customers and other trades
