Agency Trade Analyst

Are you passionate about shipping, trade, analytics, and driving business growth? We are looking for a highly motivated Agency Trade Analyst to join our Commercial Team and play a key role in optimizing trade performance, strengthening collaboration with regional and global stakeholders, and supporting strategic business decisions.

In this role, you will contribute to the success of our trade activities by analyzing vessel profiles, monitoring sales forecasts, and coordinating closely with Regional Office (RO) and Head Office (HO) Lines. You will help ensure optimal cargo allocation, improve vessel utilization, and support initiatives that maximize profitability and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze vessel profiles and sales forecasts, coordinating with RO and HO Lines when required.

• Prepare and submit accurate weekly sales forecasts and performance reports for management review.

• Support allocation management to optimize vessel filling factors and cargo mix (CSA, COA, LTL).

• Collaborate with Lines on pricing, routing, and other trade-related matters.

• Identify potential business opportunities and support profitable growth initiatives.

• Monitor market trends, developments, and industry dynamics.

• Contribute to the digitalization of agency activities and support the SpotON initiative.

 Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in liner shipping.

• Strong knowledge of shipping operations, pricing, and sales forecasting.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage customers, senior leaders, and middle management.

• Professional, resilient, and able to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in Project Management, Business Process Management, Transformation, Continuous Improvement, Digitization, and Customer Experience.

• Strong knowledge of LARA, CSA, and related shipping tools.

• Good understanding of CMA CGM Group organization, processes, and systems.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong analytical and reporting skills, including experience with data analysis and Qlik Sense.
