Agent Assistant

Job Summary:

Cult Artists is a Sydney-based entertainment agency working with a diverse range of established & emerging artists across Australia, New Zealand & Asia. The agency is part of the Secret Sounds & Live Nation group of companies.

Our agency and staff have built strong reputations within the industry, with a strong focus on being creative and forward-thinking in terms of our approach to developing artists’ long term live careers, with a family minded approach to our artists and their teams.

The agency is looking for an Agent Assistant to grow & develop within the business, ideal for someone looking to become a live music agent.

**Employment type:**Casual Part-time to begin with approx. 20 hrs per week (with room to increase to permanent employment)

Roles:

• Work with and support the Agent team with administrative duties, including contracting and advancing confirmed shows, assisting with ticket sales reports, and securing support options for artist tours.
• Maintain and keep agency database and resources current and up to date.
• Start to develop, maintain and grow relationships with the agency’s artist teams & broader music industry.
• The position would incorporate ongoing training for new staff who wish to grow within the business.

Essential skills we’re looking for:

• Strong organisation: Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task, follow processes, and manage large volumes of work in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear communication: Strong written and verbal skills.
• Strong computer literacy: With experience using the full Microsoft Suite and Mac computers.
• Strong work ethic & ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Problem-solving and adaptability.
