Agent Platform Engineer

Build the task-execution controls that let AI systems work safely and recover reliably.

What you'll do:

• Implement observable job states, permissions and isolated execution.

• Handle retries, duplicate prevention, cancellation and recovery.

• Verify completion against actual results, not only task status.

• Build audit records, tests and explicit approval boundaries for external actions.

Skills we're looking for:

Production backend engineering, durable task execution, permission boundaries, concurrency/idempotency, observability and recovery testing.

Employment: Full-time.

Work arrangement: Hybrid, with 1-2 days per week in person in Paramus, New Jersey.

Salary: $91,000-$160,000 per year.
