Agent Platform Engineer

We are looking for an Agent Platform Engineer to design and scale the core infrastructure powering AI agents that automate complex healthcare workflows.

This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of backend engineering, distributed systems, and agentic AI , building reliable, production-grade technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale backend services and infrastructure using TypeScript.
• Develop core infrastructure for AI agents, including browser automation, tool execution, state management, and workflow orchestration.
• Build reliable APIs, background jobs, and event-driven systems.
• Develop evaluation, monitoring, and observability tools to improve AI agent performance.
• Improve system reliability, scalability, and fault tolerance.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to build reusable platform capabilities.

Requirements

• 4+ years of backend or infrastructure software engineering experience.
• Strong programming experience with TypeScript / Node
• Bonus if you work with Go, Java, Kotlin, or Rust.
• Proven experience building scalable, production-grade backend systems.
• Strong knowledge of API design, relational databases, and distributed systems.
• Experience in high-growth startups or technically demanding engineering environments.
• Comfortable using AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex.
• Computer Science degree preferred, or equivalent experience in a high-calibre engineering environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience building AI agents, LLM applications, or autonomous systems.
• Exposure to Temporal, Playwright, PostgreSQL, Prisma, GCP, Docker, or Pulumi .
• Experience with browser automation, workflow orchestration, or computer-use agents.
• Background in healthcare, regulated environments, or forward-deployed engineering.
