Agentic AI Developer – Enterprise Health & Citizen Support Modernization

We seek an experienced Agentic AI Developer to enhance enterprise customer service and Interactive Voice Response (IVR) systems using cutting‑edge AI technologies.

You will design, build, and deploy intelligent conversational solutions that streamline complex workflows, elevate user experience, and improve service accessibility for the people who rely on these essential programs.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop Agentic AI capabilities to modernize IVR and contact center platforms

• Build conversational agents with intent understanding, context retention, and multistep task execution

• Integrate LLMs, NLP, speech technologies, and voice interfaces

• Create APIs, microservices, and back‑end integrations connecting AI solutions to enterprise systems

• Design agent orchestration workflows and automated decisioning

• Integrate with leading IVR/contact center platforms (e.g., Amazon Connect, Lex, Genesys Cloud)

• Optimize prompts, RAG pipelines, and agent workflows

• Collaborate across engineering, architecture, and business teams to translate requirements

• Implement security, privacy, authentication, and human‑in‑the‑loop mechanisms

• Test, evaluate, and improve AI performance, accuracy, reliability, and latency

• Support Agile practices, CI/CD pipelines, documentation, and code reviews

• Ensure compliance with federal security, accessibility, and related standards

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in a technical field and 12+ years of experience (or equivalent per contract)

• Strong software development skills (Python, JavaScript, Java, etc.)

• Experience building AI/ML or conversational AI applications

• Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise integrations

• Understanding of Agentic AI, orchestration, and workflow automation

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP

• Knowledge of NLP, ASR, TTS, and conversational technologies

• Agile development experience

• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Ability to meet federal background/suitability requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, or similar frameworks

• Hands‑on IVR/contact center development (Amazon Connect, Genesys Cloud, Twilio, etc.)

• Experience with enterprise LLM platforms (AWS Bedrock, Azure AI, OpenAI APIs)

• Development of voice‑enabled AI agents and speech technologies

• RAG, vector databases, semantic search

• Experience with Lambda, API Gateway, Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless architectures

• Prompt engineering, evaluation frameworks, guardrails, responsible AI

• Integration with legacy federal systems

• Knowledge of federal cybersecurity standards (NIST 800‑53, FISMA)

• Experience supporting civilian federal agencies

• Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility requirements
