Agentic Life Science Expert

Job Requirements:

• Education: Ph.D., postdoctoral, or equivalent research experience in Life Sciences.
• Technical Skills: Strong scientific programming experience, particularly in Python, with experience in computational scientific analysis.
• Domain Expertise: Background in areas such as bioinformatics, genomics, systems biology, computational biology, neuroscience, biochemistry, or related fields.
• AI & Computational Skills: Experience with multi-step computational workflows, scientific datasets, coding/AI agents, or reproducible research pipelines is preferred.
• Validation Skills: Ability to independently validate scientific reasoning, calculations, code, and computational outputs.
• Availability: Full-time commitment of 40 hours/week with 4 hours PST overlap daily.

Job Responsibilities:

• Task Design: Create challenging, realistic multi-step scientific tasks for AI agents.
• Computational Workflows: Develop tasks involving Python, scientific libraries, datasets, and computational tools.
• Scientific Validation: Verify scientific assumptions, calculations, code, intermediate results, and final outputs.
• Evaluation: Create reproducible solutions and objective grading criteria to evaluate AI performance.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure tasks are scientifically accurate, self-contained, reproducible, and suitable for controlled computational environments.
