How you will make an impact?

As an Agile Master, you help platforms and squads work with focus, alignment, and speed. You guide leaders and teams in connecting their daily work to business outcomes and support them in building high-performing, distributed teams. You simplify ways of working, foster collaboration across countries, and make agile principles a natural part of how METRO delivers value.

We have two Agile Master roles available: one fixed-term position covering maternity leave and one permanent position. Both roles follow a hybrid working model and can be based in any of our offices in Bucharest, Brasov, or Cluj.

Your Responsibilities:

• Promote Agile mindset and challenge traditional ways of working;
• Coach leaders to make informed, data-driven decisions;
• Enable space for experimentation and continuous improvement;
• Drive transparency through OKRs, QBR dashboards, and platform metrics;
• Define and uphold Agile standards across the platform;
• Ensure alignment with the TOM;
• Facilitate resolution of cross-platform dependencies and impediments;
• Monitor platform KPIs and ensure SCORE integration;
• Track productivity and Agile maturity across squads;
• Lead Inspect & Adapt sessions for continuous improvement;
• Create visibility and focus through effective reporting;
• Address systemic blockers impacting delivery;
• Support ABR/QBR planning and execution;
• Promote standardized Agile practices and tooling;
• Provide flexible support to squads as needed;
• Guide teams to using dashboards and metrics effectively;
• Advocate for product discovery and customer-first approaches;
• Promote value demonstration via demos and CSAT metrics;
• Ensure customer-centricity is embedded in platform strategy;
• Engage in Agile Guilds and knowledge-sharing initiatives;
• Identify and address signs of disengagement;
• Foster collaboration and continuous learning across teams.

Required key competencies and qualifications:

• Proven experience in applying agile practices, principles and values working in an enterprise organization;
• Managing team dynamics;
• Communication and leadership skills;
• Outcome oriented and data-inspired decision making;
• Ability to drive the change;
• Ability to teach, mentor and coach others;
• System thinking and knowledge of OKR framework;
• Very good fluency in English (written and verbal).
